Al-Ahram Canadian University celebrates the Egyptian Media Women on the International Women's Day
“The Women’s Unit” at the Faculty of “Mass Communication”-Ahram Canadian University, organized a celebration titled “The Journey of Egyptian Media Women and Their Role in the Sustainable Development”, on the occasion of the International Women’s Day, on 8th of March 2023, under the auspices of Prof. Seddik Abdel Salam Tawfik the president of “Ahram Canadian University”, to honor the luminous generations of women in the Egyptian Media, headed by “Nadia Mabrouk”, the former head of the Egyptian radio and member of the Senate Culture and Information Committee, “Dina Sharaf”, who works in the Egyptian television, “Mawaddah Kamal”, and “Menna Yacoub” a young TV presenter, and with the presence of Prof.”Inas Abou Youssef” the Dean of the Faculty of Mass Communication, and Dr.Inas Abdel Hamid The Vice Dean of the Postgraduate Studies and Researches and Dr.Amany Reda Vice Dean for Environmental Affairs, and Dr.Nermine Ibrahim the Head of the “Women Unit” in the Faculty.
Prof. Seddik Abdel Salam Tawfik announced the establishment of the "Gender Parity Unit" at the university, coinciding with the “International Women's Day”, to enhance the position of Ahram Canadian University as a safe environment for women.
Dr. Inas Abu Youssef, the Dean of the Faculty of Mass Communication, expressed her pride in the Egyptian woman and her role in facing the economic crises that affect many Egyptian families because of the Corona pandemic and the Russian-Ukrainian war.
