Frequently asked questions

  • Q- How many students should make the live presentation?

–This is up to you, but due to time constrain, we recommend 1-3 students to take on this job.

  • Q- I do not know most of the team members I belong to and I want to work with my friends!!

–Upon graduation, you will not be able to pick up your working mates. Consider this a rehearsal for this stage. Moreover, consider this as nice opportunity to deal with some colleagues you probably have not dealt with before.

  • Q- Well, usually 2-3 students only will do the job and the rest will depend on them

–This is expected! We believe those 2-3 students will get the most benefit. However, the paper-based evaluation is set to make sure all team members are well-oriented with the presentation.

  • Q- Should I make my presentation based only on the material suggested?

–No, this is just a guidance. We believe this is a valuable source to use, but we highly recommend variation in the sources and enrichment of your presentation with pictures of machines and products from industry and life.

  • Q- Should I print the presentation?

–No, this is not required. Presentations should be submitted by email to before Wednesday 10th April 23:59. This is Wednesday following the midterm exams week.

  • Q- How will the paper-based evaluation be carried out?

–Based on the PowerPoint file submitted, a brief exam will be set and each member of the team will take this exam directly after the presentation. This paper-based exam makes 2 out 5 marks of the presentation
